This case study describes just a portion of what was done during those 5 years. Many other tools and interaction patterns were implemented. Visual data model or the entire product website were built from scratch (my website design is not up anymore). Brand new demos were launched, which opened the door for effective sales and better targeting specific verticals.
I've pushed the original product through a necessary ground-up redesign. Every existing context, functionality and pixel was revisited, redesigned and improved upon. Overall usability, utility, consistency, discoverability, findability, intelligibility, credibility and learnability were significantly enhanced. Interaction costs and information overload were notably reduced.
A big pile of work was done and even bigger pile of work still waits ahead. But I am confident to say that I have helped to build a solid foundation for mature user experience and future expansion of a fully professional product.
